1961 Australian University Championships— Brisbane River, Brisbane QLD
The Championships were conducted on the Milton Reach of the Brisbane River on 27th May over 2 miles. The course starts at Storey Bridge and is rowed upstream.
An interesting twist to the racing was that the Melbourne crew lost their bow man in the difficult conditions faced by the crews and did not finish.
