1923 NSW AAGPS Head of the River

Sydney Grammar won again, but under a new coach George Mackenzie. The long serving Grammar coach W H Savigny had died since the last race. Mackenzie was later to coach Scots' College.

St Ignatius College made the final for the first time since heats were introduced.
