History of AAGPS Head of the River Rowing Regatta

1924 NSW AAGPS Head of the River

Yet another new school arrived to the event this year. This year it was Sydney High School who entered a crew in the Yaralla Cup and won - another first time winner. They were the only GPS school not competing in this event. As a matter of side interest, in 1923 Cranbrook applied to enter this regatta and were refused as they were not a GPS school. It is reported that High's application was welcomed by the other schools.
