1970 South Australian Schools' Head of the River

The 1970 SA Head of the River saw the following events raced:

- First Eight

- Second Eight

- Open Four

- Open Lightweight Four

- Under 16 Four

- Under 15 Four


Pulteney Grammar School won the First Eight for a third year in a row. Yet again, St. Peter's College won the Second Eight. King's College won all the remaining events, making it 4 wins from 6 starts.
