1968 South Australian Schools' Head of the River

Saturday, 20 April – Torrens Lake:

The 1968 SA Head of the River saw the following events raced:

- First Eight

- Second Eight

- Open Four

- Open Lightweight Four

- Under 16 Tub Fours (Slides)

- Under 15 Tub Fours (Slides)

In record time, Pulteney Grammar School won the First Eight for the second time. They also won the Open, Under 16 and Under 15 Four, St. Peter's College won the Second Eight and Scotch College won the Open Lightweight Four.
