1957 South Australian Schools' Head of the River

Saturday, 20 April – Torrens Lake:

There was a change to the program in 1957, with the Wallman Trophy for Second Crews changing from Fours to Eights. Accordingly, the 1957 regatta featured the following events:

- First Eight

- Second Eight

- Open Four

- Under 15 Tub Fours (Slides)

Once again, St. Peter's College defeated Scotch College in the First Eight by just 2 feet, making it 10 victories from their last 11 starts.
