1930 South Australian Schools' Head of the River

Saturday, 12 April – Torrens Lake:

The 1930 SA Head of the River featured the following races:

- First Eight

- Open Tub Fours (Fixed)

- Under 16 Tub Fours (Fixed)

- Under 15 Tub Fours (Fixed)

The 1930 April regatta was the first time Renmark High School raced at the SA Head of the River. In the First Eight, St. Peter's College beat Scotch College in the final by one length.

Saturday, 6 December – Torrens Lake:

As part of South Australian Rowing Association "Summer Regatta", the following school events were raced in 1930.

- First Eight

- Open Tub Fours (Slides)

- Under 16 Tub Fours (Fixed)

- Under 15 Tub Fours (Fixed)

In the First Eight, Scotch College overturned their fortunes from April by defeating St. Peter's College by a ¾ length margin.
