1965 South Australian Schools' Head of the River

Saturday, 17 April – Torrens Lake:

The 1965 SA Head of the River featured the following events:

- First Eight

- Second Eight

- Open Four

- Under 16 Tub Fours (Slides)

- Under 15 Tub Fours (Slides)


St. Peter's College won the First Eight for the 28th time at the SA Head of the River with a quick time of 2 min 50 sec. The winners of each event was identical to the year prior in 1964; St. Peter's College winning all events but the Under 15 Tub Four which was won again by Prince Alfred College.
