History of the South Australian Schools Head of the River rowing regatta

1977 South Australian Schools' Head of the River

The 1977 Head of the River was momentous in moving the regatta to the new West Lakes course. Further, at the conclusion of the regatta, the course was named the A M Ramsey Rowing Course.

Pulteney Grammar broke the run of victories by St Peter's College taking out the Head of the River race.

The regatta was conducted on Saturday 2nd April.
