1960 South Australian Schools' Head of the River

Saturday, 16 April – Torrens Lake:

The 1960 SA Head of the River featured the following events:

- First Eight

- Second Eight

- Open Four

- Under 16 Tub Fours (Slides)

- Under 15 Tub Fours (Slides)


St. Peter's College won the First Eight yet again making it 12 wins from their past 14 starts in the event. Prince Alfred College were victorious in the Second Eight and Under 16 Tub Four, Adelaide High School took out the Open Four, and Scotch College won the Under 15 Tub Four.
