Bob Blake Shield
The Bob Blake Shield is a point score trophy awarded to the most successful State based para rowing team at the National Championships.
Having commenced in 2001, NSW have dominated from the first year winning the pointscore in all but 2 years and sharing the honours in another.
Bob Blake OAM was a trailblazer in Australia, and in particular in his home State of Tasmania, in para rowing. He coached, co-ordinated and led the early development of this category of rowing. His son Roger was an early proponent of para rowing.
