Beaten by the eventual winner Abingdon Sch. in Round 4 of 5 (semi-Finalists). The Henley Regatta Records 2010-14 reported on the semi-final as follows. The semi-final was a superb race between two excellent school crews. Abingdon rowed 43 strokes in the first minute against 44 strokes by Scotch College, Melbourne and the crews remained level to the Barrier. Thereafter, Abingdon, rating 34, squeezed slowly ahead of Scotch College, rating 37. However, the lead was never more than a canvas all the way through to the mile signal. Two strong pushes by Abingdon finally allowed them to break away and to win by one and a half lengths
