Corio Bay Rowing Club (VIC) - Bow: George Xouris, Str: Jeff R Watt

The 'Little Fellas' as this crew was known, had a bye in the first round. They met a crew from the local Marlow Rowing Club in the second round and accounted for them easily. They met Nottingham Britannia Rowing Club in the third round and dispatched them by 3 lengths. In the final, the winning German combination went out fast rating 41 and led by 3/4 length by the quarter mile. This was extended 3 length by the barrier and four length by Fawley. The Corio Bay crew kept going strongly but could not make an impression.
