Defeated by Molesey Boat Club & Leander Club by 1 length. The Henley Regatta Records 2010-14 reported on theri race as follows. In the second semi-final the Molesey and Leander eight rowed 42 strokes in the first minute, against 43 strokes by the Australian Institute of Sport crew, and led by a canvas at the first signal. The British;trew were the stronger eight from the end of the Island and had taken/a lead of half a length at the Barrier where they were striking 38 against 37 by the Australians. The British crew then settled to a powerful 36 and had drawn out to a lead of three quarters of a length at Fawley where the Australians were rating 39. By the mile signal the lead had been extended to one length with the British eight at 37 and the Australians at 39. Despite their every effort the Australians, at 40 along the Enclosure, could not close the gap and the final verdict was one length.

Australian Institute of Sport 'B' - Anthony J. Edwards, Todd Skipworth, Benjamin D. Cureton, Sam C. Beltz (s—steers)

Beaten by Leander & Molesey B. C. by ¾ length in Round 1. Leander & Molesey B. C.’s time was a new course record. This crew was the Australian lightweight four.

Upper Yarra Rowing Club (VIC) -  A. R. P. Emmett, H. C. Casey, H. R. Rowlands, C. W. G. Risbey, G. E. R. Ellis, S. P. M. Keenan, H. S. C. Meek, J. H. Hookway, (s) M. H. Douez (c)

Champions over Star Club by 1 length in the final. The Henley Regatta Record 2010-14 reported on the final as follows.  The Final produced a well fought and exciting race. In excellent conditions both crews rowed 43 strokes in the first minute and Upper Yarra led by half a length at the first signal. By the Barrier both crews had settled to 37 and the lead remained at half a length. Upper Yarra were the smoother crew and slowly extended their lead to three quarters of a length at Fawley and to one length at the mile. However, Star Club clung on through sheer determination and, rating 38, reduced the lead to three quarters of a length at the mile. Upper Yarra responded at 39 past the Enclosure and the final verdict was one length.

Beaten by the eventual winners London Rowing Club by 2 lengths in Round 4 of 5. London were runners up in 2010 and clearly were determined not to miss in 2011.

Banks Rowing Club (VIC) -  O. P. O. Dutton (b—steers), H. K. Macciolli, W. P. Thompson, W. S. Bernard (s)

Beaten by Maidstone Invicta Rowing Club by 3 lengths in Round 2 of 5.

There was a record entry of 77 crews for this event and no longer could there be composite club crews. One of the Australian entries, Townsville & JCU Rowing Club, did not make it through qualification.

Beaten by Leander Club by 1 ¼ lengths in Round 2 of 5.

Champions over London Rowing Club ‘A’ by ¾ length in the Final (finalist). The Henley Regatta Record 2010-14 reported on the final as follows. The Final was a classic battle between two very well matched coxed fours. There was never more than three quarters of a length between the two crews the whole way over the Course. Banks rowed 41 strokes in the first minute, against 40 strokes by London W, and led by a canvas at the first signal. Still rating 38, Banks had taken a lead of half a length at the Barrier but could get no more through to Fawley as London fought hard to stay in contact. By the three-quarter mile Banks, rating 34, had extended their lead to three quarters of a length but London W, rating 35, then made a number of very determined efforts to get back level. Unfortunately for London they could get no closer than half a length and the final verdict went to Banks by three quarters of a length.

Easily beaten by Crawshay & Brennan in Round 3 of 4. 

The Henley Regatta Records 2010-14 reported on the semi-final and final as follows. The Australian double of Crawshay & Brennan had a comfortable win in the quarter-final and then met their Australian team mates, Chapman & Bidwell in the semi-final. Crawshay & Brennan sculled 42 strokes in the first minute, against 44 strokes by Chapman & Bidwell, and led by one length at the first signal. Thereafter, Crawshay & Brennan dominated the race going on to record a verdict of 'Easily'. 

The Final was looked forward to with great anticipation. However, the Australian Olympic Champions were on the 'come back' trail after taking time off since the Beijing Olympics and the British double were not to be denied on their home waters. Wells & Bateman sculled 43 strokes in the first minute, against 42 strokes by Crawshay & Brennan, and led by two thirds of a length at the first signal. Rating 35 they extended their lead to one and a half lengths at the Barrier. The British double remained in complete control of the race through to the Finish where they won by two and a half lengths. 

At the World Championships in Bled, Slovenia the Australian double missed the bronze medal by 0.36 sec. while the British double, with illness in the crew, came sixth in the Final.

Beaten by M. Steenman by 2 ½ lengths in Round 1 of 4

Upper Yarra Rowing Club (VIC) - A Wertheimer

Beaten by A. W. Campbell by 2 lengths in Round 1 of 4. 

 The Henley Regatta Records 2010-14 reported on the semi-final with Chapman and final as follows.

The semi-final matched Campbell against another of the Australian scullers, Chapman. Both scullers recorded 40 strokes in the first minute but Campbell had the faster start, leading by one and a half lengths at the first signal. He had extended his lead to over five lengths at the mile signal and recorded another solid victory. 

In the Final Campbell sculled 43 strokes in the first minute, against 41 strokes by Hudson, and led by two thirds of a length at the first signal. Campbell continued to pile on the pressure, leading by one and a half lengths at the Barrier and by two and a half lengths at Fawley. Hudson sculled well but was outclassed, Campbell going on to record a verdict of 'Easily'.
