The Henley Regatta Records reported on the final as follows. In the Final, after the initial sprint off the Start, with both quads sculling 39 strokes in the first minute, the Australian quad hit a very effective stride and moved steadily away from the Dutch quad over the remainder of the Course. Their lead was one length at the Barrier, two and a quarter lengths at Fawley and four and a half lengths at the mile signal. The final verdict was 'Easily'.

The Henley Regatta Record reported on the semi finals as follows.
In the first semi-final California R.C. met the N.RC.E. 'Pi. crew from Australia. California rowed 43 strokes in the first minute against 42 strokes by the Australian Under 23 crew. California led by three quarters of a length at the first signal and by one length at the Barrier. By Fawley California had extended their lead to one and a third lengths, striking 36 against their opponents 35. California drew steadily ahead, going on to win by two lengths.
The N.R.C.E. 'B' crew was made up of the Australian coxed and coxless fours selected to race in the World U23 Championships later in the year. In the second semi-final of the day this crew came up against Brown University and a thrilling race ensued. The Australian crew rowed 44 strokes in the first minute against 42 strokes by Brown and led by a canvas at the first signal. At the Barrier the lead remained at a canvas

The Henley Regatta Records 2010-14 reported on the Scotch College semi-final as follows. Scotch College had reached the semi-finals after a hard race against Eton College on the Friday. Scotch College took an immediate lead after the start and, rowing well into the strong headwind, led· by one length at the Barrier. They had extended their lead to one and a half lengths at Fawley but Eton challenged hard at Remenham and had closed the distance to three quarters of a length just after! the mile signal. Scotch College responded well along the enclosures and, despite a final push by Eton, they crossed the line three quarters of a length ahead.

The Henley Regatta Records 2010-14 reported on the semi-final as follows. In their semi-final Dortmund faced the Under 23 crew from the NRCE, Australia. Dortmund coped better with the gusty, cross-headwind conditions and over rated the Australian crew by two or three strokes a minute over the whole Course. Dortmund, at 36, led by half a length at the Barrier and by one length at Fawley. The final verdict was one and three-quarter lengths to Dortmund.

Easily beaten by Wairiki R. C., New Zealand in Round 2 of 3 (semi-finalists). Was the national U23 lightweight crew.
The Henley Regatta Records 2010-14 reported on the final as follows. The Final produced a spectacular race. Waiariki rowed 42 strokes in the first minute against 41 strokes by NRCE W but then 'caught a crab' before the end of the Island. The Australian crew took their opportunity and led Waiariki by one length at the first signal. Waiariki fought back and held the deficit to one length at the Barrier where both crews were rating 37. Waiariki continued to attack and had reduced the lead to half a length at Fawley. NRCE W responded and pulled out to a one length lead by the mile signal where both crews were at 36. Waiariki attacked again along the enclosures but the Australians were not to be denied, winning a great race by two thirds of a length.

The Henley Regatta Records 2010-14 reported on the final as follows. The Final produced a great race between two fine crews. ANA Rowing Club, Australia had the faster start and, with both crews rating 37, they led by three quarters of a length at the first signal. They maintained this lead to the Barrier and had extended it to one length at Fawley. However, Nottingham 'A:, rating 36/37 against ANA:s 35 started to close the gap. Nottingham W coped well with the very difficult conditions and had drawn level after the mile signal. As Nottingham took the lead ANA tried to hold on and the lead was only half a length at the mile and an eighth signal. Along the Enclosure Nottingham 'A: drew away to win an excellent race by two lengths.

The Henley Regatta Records 2010-14 reported on the final as follows. The Final was an excellent race. Victoria City sculled 43 strokes in the first minute against 41 strokes by NRCE and led by two thirds of a length at the first signal. Unfortunately, Victoria suffered a minor crab approaching the Barrier and their lead was reduced to half a length. Both quads raced to Fawley rating 37 and Victoria had extended their lead to three quarters of a length. From Fawley to the last signal the lead fluctuated between three quarters and half a length. The NRCE quad refused to let the Canadians get away. In a sprint for the line the Australian quad were up to 40 and stormed through in the last few strokes to win by half a length.
