1988 PSA Head of the River
The Head of the River honours in 1988 went to Guildford Grammar followed by Scotch and then Aquinas.
The Hamer Cup for the most successful school again went to Aquinas with three race wins out of the eight races on offer and being competitive in all events. Their rowing program continued to be strong.
Hamer Cup
The Hamer Cup is awarded to the school with the highest aggregate points across all events at the Head of the River regatta.
The winning school was Aquinas College, with Scotch College second and Guildford Grammar third.
