1984 PSA Head of the River
It was to be Scotch's year in 1984 with their first crew taking out the Head of the River and the school taking out the Hamer Cup for the best performing school over all events.
Scotch College won two of the six events and finished second in the other four. It was an impressive result.
This was to be the last year for under 16 events which were changed to Year 10 events in 1985 onwards.
Hamer Cup
The Hamer Cup is awarded to the school with the highest aggregate points across all events at the Head of the River regatta.
The winning school was Scotch College, with Aquinas College second and Hale School third.
