1964 PSA Head of the River

The 1964 PSA Head of the River Regatta was conducted over the last mile of the King's Cup course on Saturday 18th April 1964. The weather was again inclement with crews late at the start as boats sank or were damaged on the way to the start.

It was the last time that this course was used. From 1965, the Canning River course was used until the commencement of Champion Lake.

Christ Church Grammar School were the victors of the Head of the River with both Christ Church and Aquinas figuring highly in all events.
