2019 Australian Masters Rowing Championships, Champion Lakes, WA

After racing in 2018 at the most southerly international-standard regatta course, 780 of Australia’s Masters made the trip to its most westerly. In a change from previous regattas, races were live-streamed.

Toowong Rowing Club once again returned to the winner’s dais as Champion Club as “normal service” was resumed.

The winners of the Interstate races exactly replicated the 2018 results, with winning streaks increasing to 7 (Victorian Men’s Quad), 5 (Queensland Women’s Eight), and 3 (Victorian Women’s Quad). After a great week’s racing, athletes looked forward to the 2020 regatta at Lake Barrington.
