2017 Australian Masters Championships, Nagambie Lakes, VIC

Returning to Lake Nagambie, Victoria, for the first time since 2008, the Rowing Australia Masters National Championship took over the Shire of Strathbogie from the 18th to the 21st of May, 2017. Over 700 athletes took to the course for four days of racing, including Regatta Organising Committee Chair Nick Inglis (Powerhouse), who rowed in the victorious Victorian Interstate Men’s Quad Scull.

Queensland’s Toowong Rowing Club continued to exercise a stranglehold on the Club points score, winning by over 150 points from Melbourne’s Powerhouse RC, who in turn were narrowly ahead of Melbourne University Boat Club.
