2018 Australian Masters Rowing Championships - Lake Barrington TAS

The 2018 Masters Regatta made the trip to Lake Barrington, home of the 1990 World Rowing Championships. The lure of one of the best natural courses in the world, along with great competition, brought 877 athletes to race at Barrington from May 10th to May 13th.

The hotly contested Interstate races replicated the results of 2017, other than Queensland overtaking New South Wales to win the Interstate Men’s Eight.  For this regatta, Interstate Sweep honours went to Queensland, whilst Victorian crews won both quadruple scull races.

Melbourne University Boat Club interrupted Toowong’s grip on the Club Pointscore trophy, narrowly overtaking Powerhouse, with the Queensland club pushed into third.
