Appendix 7. Premierships

Men's premierships were introduced in 1898-99 season. In the 1905-06 season a junior premiership was introduced with the object of increasing interest in the premierships. The growth in premierships continued commensurate with the growth of the sport and greater categories of racing. Regrettably, very little is known of the early women's premierships so this record is primarily of the men's and combined association premierships unless otherwise noted.

The premierships have always been recognised by a certificate to the Club.
