2001 Nations Cup— Linz Austria
This was another good Australian under 23 team returning with three gold, one silver and two bronze medals - an exceptional result.
The depth of women's rowing was sensational both in the senior and under 23 teams. In this team gold medals in the double, quad and four, and in the senior team gold in the four, eight and lightweight quad. What a year.
On the men's side, the quad and pair doubled up at both the senior and under 23 championships.
The team also raced at the World Cup.
