Dr Robert N Tinning AM
Sydney Rowing Club (NSW)

Robert was a noted Australian rower and Sydney orthopaedic surgeon. He was awarded membership of the Order of Australia in 1980 for service to medicine, particularly in the field of orthopaedics.
His postgraduate training in orthopaedics took him to Edinburgh which had a good name for their training. During that time he rowed with his good friend John Guy with the Edinburgh University Boat Club.

His continuing interest in the sport of rowing even through his busy professional life is evident below including coaching and team doctor roles.
