Michael J Scanlon

Antwerp Rowing Club (VIC)

Michael James Scanlon was born in 1889 in Sydney. He enlisted for WWI in Horsham as a 25 1/2 year old labourer.

He was wounded in France by a gas shell on 16th October 1917. He remained in France for the remainder of the war but was discharged with a two thirds incapacity in June 1919.

He was living in Hopetoun in 1924.
