Henry Meek

Geelong Grammar School (VIC), Melbourne University Boat Club (VIC), University of Washington Boat Club (USA), Cambridge University Boat Club (UK)

Henry commenced his rowing at Geelong Grammar School where his father was the Headmaster. He finished in the first crew.

A short but successful period of rowing at Melbourne University followed before heading off to the University of Washington to study. His successful rowing career continued in the US with the University of Washington and several great Royal Henley Regatta appearances. 

Cambridge University followed, with Henry stroking the Cambridge Blue Boat in The Boat Race.

Following his time in the UK, Henry returned to Seattle USA to commence his business life.

2011 – Interstate Championships, Wilkinson Cup, two seat - Gold 

2011 – Henley Royal Regatta – Winner of the Thames Challenge Cup 

2012 – PAC-12 Championships M8+ - Gold 

2012 – IRA Championships – Freshman 8+ - Gold 

2012 – Henley Royal Regatta – 7 seat of the Washington 8+ - Winner of the event (3 consecutive HRR wins) 

2012 – Head of the Charles Regatta – Gold (four seat) 

2013 - PAC-12 Championships Men's Varsity 8+, seven seat - gold

2013 – IRA National Championships Men's Varsity 8+, seven seat – gold 

2013 - Henley Royal Regatta, Grand Challenge Cup, seven seat - Second (Defeated the Polish National team in the semi-finals. Lost to the GB National team.)

2013 – Head of the Charles – Mens Varsity 8+

2014 – PAC-12 Championships Men's Varsity 8+ - Champion 

2014 – IRA National Championships Men's Varsity 8+ – gold 

2014 – U23 World Rowing Championships M8+, seven seat - Silver Medal 

2014 – Head of the Charles – Mens Varsity 8+ - Fifth place 

2015 – PAC-12 Championships Mens Varsity 8+ Winner

2015 – IRA Championships Mens Varsity 8+ winner 

2015 – Henley Royal Regatta, Ladies Challenge Plate, seven seat – Second place. 

2017 – The Boat Race, Cambridge Blue Boat, stroke - Second
