David Magoffin

Toowong Rowing Club (QLD)

A leading school and club coach in Queensland who died in NSW in 1973. Jack Pritchard in his book Rowing in Queensland noted his death in the following terms.

Dave Magoffin, who had retired to his beloved Blue Mountains in N.S.W., died there within a very short time of his retirement and in the season after being elected an Honorary Life Member of the Q.A.R.C..
