Melbourne Rowing Club (VIC)

A banker by trade who raced in early Victorian rowing. Of interest is that he raced in the three seat of the winning crew at the first event conducted by the Victorian Rowing Association on 25th November 1876, a scratch eights event.

1878 - Geelong and Barwon Regatta, Junior Four, three seat - first

1878 - Banks Challenge Cup, bow - First (racing for the Commercial Bank)

Andrew Guerin developed and extended these histories to the current format in 2004 for publication in 2004 and then expanded the site.
