Edwin H Flack

Victoria

The inaugural Honorary Treasurer of the Australian Henley regatta. He held that position through to 1924 when he stepped down.

During that time the regatta rapidly grew to regularly have 100,000 spectators and immediately after WWI, well over 200,000.

The regatta was operated by skilled people sch as Flack in a voluntary capacity.

Edwin Flack was a proprietor of Flack & Flack public accountants.
