Arthur H Enticott
Yarra Yarra Rowing Club (VIC)
Arthur was a noted Victorian oarsman and also an important administrator of his club, holding variously the positions of Captain and President.
He died in 1936-37 season and The Yarra Yarra Rowing Club annual report recorded as follows:
“The club suffered a very severe loss by the death of Mr A H Enticott. He was a great oarsman, and a friend of every member of the club. He joined the club in1884, was president until he was compelled to resign on account of ill health, and since then has been one of our vice presidents. During the whole period of his association with the club his sole interest was its welfare. To his family and relatives goes our sincere sympathy.”
