Rowing Australia’s profile of Kendall extracted on the 29th May 2020 advised:

Making her debut for the Australian Rowing Team in 2018, Kendall Brodie became the first woman to cox an Australian Men's Eight at the World Rowing Cups. The Sydney Rowing Club member has coxed many a crew overseas, including Sydney Rowing Club's Men's Coxed Four to the Britannia Cup at the Henley Royal Regatta in 2015. The coxswain is a Graphic and UX designer while also a rowing coach, and can also play the cello. Her favourite place to row is Hen and Chicken Bay in Sydney. In 2018, she coxed Australia's Men's Eight to a silver medal at the 2018 World Rowing Rowing Cup 3 and the World Rowing Championships. She also coxed the the Georgina Hope Rinehart NTC Men's Eight at the 2018 Henley Royal Regatta with the crew winning the Grand Challenge Cup in record time.
