1891 Intercolonial Championships Regatta Program

The Victorian crew was supported by subscribers who also received access to a ferry to watch the race. At this stage there continued to be disagreement on the definition of amateur. The Victorian boated a crew organised by George Upward with the unofficial support of the Victorian Rowing Association. The Victorian crew was a true representative crew.
