Anthony J W Kenny

Sydney Rowing Club (NSW)

Anthony started his rowing at Shore School in Sydney finishing in the third placed first crew at 2015 AAGPS Head of the River. He then moved onto Sydney Rowing Club where he excelled winning national championships in the under 19 quad scull and club eights in 2016.

However studying at Harvard University beckoned and he naturally continued his sport in Boston with gusto. Success followed in the EARC Sprints - 1x Gold, 1x Silver, 1x Bronze, a gold medal in 2019 Head of the Charles Regatta, and a win in the Harvard-Yale Boat Race.

Anthony chose Oxford University to pursue his MBA and of course his rowing career continued. In 2023, he competed in the Oxford Isis boat in the five seat which finished second to Cambridge's Goldie boat.

Of historical note is that Anthony's great-great uncle is the great Edward Kenny, one of Australia's greatest rowing administrators.
