Rev. Mervyn Henderson

GPSOB Rowing Club (QLD) (originally a member of Brisbane Rowing Club which merged to become GPSOB RC)

Jack Pritchard in his book Rowing in Queensland noted the death of Rev Henderson in 1967 with the following tribute: During the year the death occurred of Rev. Mervyn Henderson, a life long supporter of rowing, and coach of GPSOB and Queensland crews, plus time keeping at regattas. The family home in Glen Road, Toowong, just upstream of the Regatta Hotel had often been the point for garden parties for regatta supporters.

1932 - Queensland Championships, Men's Eight, coach - First

1933 - Brisbane Rowing Club delegate to Rowing Queensland

1933 - Queensland Championships, Men's Eight, coach - First

1934 - Interstate Championships, Men's Eight, coach - Third

1951 - Queensland Championships, Women's Four, Umpire.
