Anne Caterson OAM
Leichhardt Rowing Club (NSW) then Mosman Rowing Club (NSW)
Anne was a champion rower who became proficient in both the sweep and sculling disciplines. She followed her older sister Jane into the sport and they raced together on many occasions.

Her 1984 Nell Slatter Trophy race is often remembered as one of the great races in that event. Anne, competing for NSW, battled with Uszula Kay from Tasmania with the lead changing several times over the final 500 meters. Anne prevailed by the smallest of margins, reversing the National Championships result of the same year.

Following her rowing career, Anne also successfully undertook coaching, developing a young sculler Jenny Clarke.
Anne married Sydney rower Dale Caterson and raised two children. She has maintained a strong interest in sport through surf lifesaving, specifically through Wanda Surf Life Saving Club.
