Margaret Mackenzie first taught Jenny to row whilst Margaret and Jenny were based in Melbourne.
Steve Roll coached her when she went to Sydney and won the 1969 and 1970 championships.
She was known as Jenny to all who knew her. She married Haberfield rower and NSW representative oarsman Lindsay Freeman.
