1994 World Championships- Indianapolis USA

This was another very large Australian team, similar in size to the large 1991 team. 

Australian women's rowing in open events was really coming of age. Australian sweep crews took two bronze medals and a six placing at these championships and the scullers were also finalists. On the men's side, a bronze medal in the pair was the only highlight in the open division and a silver in the lightweight four was promising given it was an Olympic event in 1996.
